I have joined blogher. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it is a network of women, or at least mainly women, bloggers. Now, to many of you, this may seem odd as I am a very busy person, busy studying. But, it does make sense. I can really only spend 5 to 7 hours a day studying or my brain may actually melt. I need something light to take my mind off of it and I love to write.
Now that I am living in Plymouth my women friends are pretty nonexistent. Well, to be fair, I have several women friends, they just happen to be strewn across the globe. I have two in Plymouth. I am trying to get to know them better, we are all going swimming tomorrow. But, I know this is going to be a slow process as they are both full time students and have very busy lives outside of that. I am grateful for these women, but I do know I need more girl friends. So, since I loved the world of bridal blogging and don’t really fit into the world of mommy blogging (though I am a follower of many mommy blogs), I have decided to join the world of women blogging. I fit into that category quite well I feel. There are also many women lawyers that blog on blogher which I think would be an excellent resource for someone on their way to law school. So, here we go!
So, for any of you in the blogher world reading my blog for the first time, these are topics you can expect on a regular basis:
- Law school applications
- Homesickness (current resident of Plymouth, UK. originally from California).
- The life of a newly married woman
- The immigration process (for him, not me. California here we come!)
- Fields of law currently being considered
